Abstract:The principle of voltage source converter based high voltage direct current transmission system(VSC-HVDC) is introduced in this paper,and the VSC-HVDC control system(include inner control loop,outer control loop,PLL scheme and functions) connected to active AC power grids is analyzed.The control scheme is also designed.Simulation model is established in MATLAB/SIMULINK.Some disturbances are applied to test the system steady state response.Simulation results show that the scheme can fast respond to disturbances with good stability and effect.
