Abstract:Observability and controllability are the purposes of large scale power systems protections.Data recorded by SCADA,PMU or other units are employed for the purposes implementation.The problem of power system control is analyzed from a viewpoint of space-time cooperation in this paper.PMU provides some data to observe and control the power system in certain scale(for example,10 ms time scale and 220 kV or more space scale).And the PMU function implementation is analyzed.The PMU configuration scheme based on wide-area protection is presented.They provide a reference for smart grid construction.
