| 摘 要： | 谚语是语言的精华、谚语折射和承载着一个民族的价值观、是非观和审美观。从语言学、修辞学和翻译学3个层面对英语谚语进行了较为全面的研究,揭示出英语谚语的语言特点和翻译规律。借鉴英美文化的优秀成分,丰富汉语语言文学的语汇,沟通和传承人类的优秀文化。

| Abstract: | Proverbs are the essence of languages,reflecting and carrying value outlook,outlook of right and wrong and aesthetical outlook.This paper conduct relatively thorough study on English proverbs from the three aspects of linguistics,rhetoric and translation theory to uncover the characteristics and translation rule of English proverbs in order to learn the excellent part of English and American cultures,to enrich the vocabulary of Chinese language and literature and to transmit and pass on excellent cultures of human beings. |
