| Abstract: | This paper uses a piecewise linear Lyapunov function and derives a new estimate for solutions of linear time-varying systems. The new solution estimate is then applied to study the stability problem for linear time-varying systems. Several new and easily verifiable sufficient conditions are obtained for asymptotic stability as well as uniform asymptotic stability with respect to partial variables. |
