一种新的道路可视化模型

提出了基于可视化要求的道路复合模型。该模型不仅能满足视觉上的要求 ,符合地形图制图规范 ,还为道路的创建和维护提供了合乎逻辑、易于理解并易于使用的操作手段。该模型已在MapInfo平台得到实现 ,并用于“城市电信地理信息系统”的开发 ,达到了预期的效果。相信该模型的设计方法对其他地理应用系统的开发有参考价值。

A new visual road model

In this paper, the authors propose a new kind of visual road data model, called Intergrated Road Model (IRM). This model not only meets the visual requirements, in other words, accords with the Specifications for Cartographic Symbols, but also provides a series of logical manipulation methods for the creation and maintenance of metropolitan roads, which are so easy to understand and utilize that end users almost needn't any training for it. The IRM has been turned into reality on MapInfo plantorm and successfully applied to the development of City Telecom GIS. The authors believe that the design process of IRM has some worth of reference for developing of other GIS application.
