网络新词构筑的原型范畴理论阐释

网络新词作为信息时代一种独特的语言现象,与人类对千变万化的客观世界的认知加工密不可分。结合实例,运用认知语言学中的原型范畴理论对网络新词产生发展的范畴化过程进行了研究。旧词词义的扩大、基本范畴词的升级和已知概念上感知的突显性三个途径是语言范畴化过程的重要手段。运用原型范畴理论解读网络新词的生成方式,有助于人们了解网络词汇演变的内在机制,对于人类了解认知世界的一般规律也大有裨益。

An interpretation of the construction of network new words on the basis of prototype category theory

The emergence of network new words is a linguistic phenomenon which is closely bound up with people’s cognitive process to the ever changing objective world.Based on the theory of prototype category,combined with examples,it makes an analysis of the formation of network new words from three perspectives: the extension of old words’ meaning,the upgrade of basic category words,and salience of perception on the basis of known concepts.It suggests that the construction of network new words can be better interpreted by the theory of prototype category and this interpretation gives great help to achieve a deeper understanding of cognition mechanism.Simultaneously,it makes good for mankind to get more knowledge to the general rule of objective world.
