| Abstract: | To improve the function of regional central cities and enhance the organization and mechanism control of the regional economy and social development is of great significance for accomplishing the coordinated development in the urban and rural areas and the overall construction of a harmonious socialist society.Xuzhou as the center of Huaihai economic zone in Jiangsu Province has a very important function during the course of development.This paper presents a thorough study of Xuzhou,analyzes its functions of distribution,a hub of communications,innovation,creation and so on.The paper also puts forward some countermeasures,including the expansion of city domain,improving the function of cities,elevating city quality etc,which will provide some references for the areas that have similar problems to deal with. |
