| Abstract: | Severe slugging occurs in a wide range of gas and liquid flow rates;such a phenomenon receives considerable attention in engineering studies.Experiments on the gas-liquid two phase flow in a horizontal/inclination pipeline connected with a riser were conducted.The flow patterns in both the horizontal pipeline and riser were presented under a different inlet flux of the gas and liquid.Results show that the blocking flow will occur intermittently in the stage where the flow patterns in the horizontal pipeline... |
