英语介词的构成与介词短语的运用

英语介词主要由简单介词，复合介词、二重介词、成语介词、分词介词和特殊介词构成。由介词与名词或代词或相当于名词的其他词类、短词、从句所构成的介词短语在句子中可以充当定语、状语、表语、宾（主）语补足语、主语和承接词语。介词短语的替代功能与表动功能更应赋予高度重视。介词与副词、代词、不定式的区别也是在英语学习中需要仔细留意的地方。

English preposition consists mainly of simple preposition, compund preposition, double preposition, phrasal preposition, participle preposition and special preposition. In a sentence a prepositional phrase can serve as an attributive, an adverbial, a predicative, an object (a subject) complement, a subject and a connective. The substitute function of a prepositional phrase should be paid attention to. In addition, a prepositional phrase can be used to express the meaning of a verb in order to simplify the sentence. Moreover, we must always keep in mind the differences between a preposition and an adverb (a pronoun, an infinitive).
