联想记忆策略与大学英语词汇教学

摘    要:词汇教学是大学英语教学过程中的一个重要环节。与传统词汇教学方法不同,联想记忆策略会帮助英语学习者从词形、语义、语音三个角度深入地内化英语词汇的语法定式及其文化涵义。本文结合实际教学,旨在阐述如何在大学英语词汇教学课堂过程中运用词形联想法、语义联想法和语音联想法这三个联想记忆策略,使学生有效的地记忆和使用英语单词,有助于学生培养自主学习词汇的能力。

Abstract:Vocabulary teaching is a significant element in the process of College English teaching. Associative memory strategy, which is different from the traditional teaching method, can help English leaner internalize deeply grammatical pattern and cultural meaning of English vocabulary from three perspectives of form, meaning and sound. This paper combined with the practical teaching, aims at discussing how to utilize such strategies as morphological associative method, semantic associative method and phonetic associative method in the class of College English vocabulary teaching, makes students memorize and make use of English words effectively and help students develop the ability of autonomous learning vocabulary.
