摘    要:在对现有路网容量理论及模型研究和分析的基础上,在参考路段通行能力的前提下,从理想与现实两种角度对路网容量进行定义,形成了新的路网容量概念;同时确定了影响路网容量的关键因素,为建立准确而实用的路网容量模型奠定基础.

Abstract:The capacity of road network is a basic data in traffic field. Up to now, no method can compute truly the capacity of road network. Therefore, on the basis of reviewing the current theories and models for capacity of road network, considering the conception of capacity of road section, a new definition of the capacity of road network is put forward. The new definition is made of two parts, one is ideal capacity of road network, and the other is real capacity of road network. At the same time, the main factors influencing the capacity of road network are also identified, which lays a foundation for truly computing the capacity of road network..
