| Abstract: | This paper restudies the section design of welded H shape steel column,and presents the pilot calculation formulas of determining slenderness ratio and section dimensions.Using the formulas can determine the section dimensions more quickly and economically. Moreover, the methods of determining dominant axis and related important data arc proposed. |
