厦门城市公共交通近期发展对策研究

随着经济的发展和城市扩大，城市交通问题日益严重，优先发展城市公共交通，是缓解城市交通拥堵的有效措施。本文提出厦门市从“海岛型”城市向“海湾型”城市转变的城市公共交通发展对策，以期对于保持公共交通的健康发展，改善人居环境，促进城市可持续发展提供启示。

STUDY ON THE POLICY FOR CURRENT URBAN PUBLIC TRAFFIC DEVELOPMENT OF XIAMEN CITY

With the development of economy and expansion of the urban, the urban traffic problem is becoming more severe. The effective way to reduct the urban traffic congestion is to give priority to the development of urban public traffic. The paper discusses the developing policy for urban public traffic in Xiamen city, which is to transform Xiamen from an "island-city" into a "bay-city". It is expected to provide some reference for the healthy development of the public traffic, for the improvement of the residence environment, and for the sustainable development of the city.
