| Abstract: | Developments, applications and the standards of the aluminum alloy regarding the overhead lines were re- viewed. High strength aluminum alloy, medium strength aluminum alloy and thermal resistant aluminum alloy were in- troduced. For the situation that aluminum alloy was used well in the worldwide, a positive comments was given to the role of aluminum alloy in the field of electric transmission. |
