Abstract:The paper summarizes a calculation method for power flow with unified power flow controller(UPFC),on the basis of which UPFC model for power flow calculation that can be integrated with conventional PQ calculation method is designed.By combining results of power flow calculation with steady-state model of UPFC,the paper analyzes relationship among control target value,system control quantity and electric value.It presents a flow control strategy— to substitute middle control variable for direct control mode and the simulation result proves that the control strategy is reasonable and effective.
