| Abstract: | The paper illustrates features of three kinds of insulators:porcelain insulator,glass insulator and composite insulator. Then the influence of outer factors,material,technique and structure on insulator's characteristics is analyzed. More important,problems in operation,solutions are presented. Finally,methods to select insulator are proposed. |
