The Research and Design of a Permanent Magnet Spherical Stepper Motor's Structure

The basic structure of a new type permanent magnet spherical stepper motor was introduced,the positions of the permanent magnets and the stator coils on the spherical were analyzed,and then the stator coil selection method was presented on the basis of the experiment of the the single-phase current tracking PWM control,suitable components are selected and the parameters of the rotor,the permanent magnets,the stator,and the stator coils of the permanent magnet spherical stepper motor were designed,the detailed design was provided,the motor＇s CAD map was also drew.All of these provide the guide for the further design and optimization of the spherical stepper motor.
