Only when the pumped-storage power station determines its reasonable and feasible operating mode can it realize its static and dynamic benefits for its subsistence and improve the benefits of the whole electric power system. Based on the defining of the electricity quantity benefit and the capacity benefit, a new united lease operating mode for the pumped-storage power station by the power grid companies and power generating enterprises with large units was put forward and was explained with models to verify its feasibility.
