| Abstract: | The bulk energy storage technologies and their development,such as compressed air energy storage(CAES),flow batteries,and 1 MW flywheel system,were presented.Projects of combining these technologies with wind power generation technology were also recommended,and the impacts of these technologies on conventional base load power plants were analyzed.The promising application future and economic benefits of energy storage technologies in the US were also prospected. |
