Analysis of actions of 500kV line protections and countermeasures

During the start-up period of part of the Fengwang 5439 line of 500 kV Wangdian Substation,the inverse time directional zero-sequence current protection for the 500 kV line acted when the operator switched the current terminals of the current transformer according to the planned start-up scheme for new equipment.The action of the protection is analyzed,and countermeasures are proposed.
