| Abstract: | This paper tries to make an analysis of the failure of Ontario electricity market during the year of 2002, and concludes that the main reasons for the energy crisis in Ontario are the insufficiency of the generation capacity and the exercising of the market power. China is restructuring her electricity industry, and the electricity market failure in Ontario is a good lesson for the deregulation efforts in China. |
