| Abstract: | ABSTRACT The methods for measuring the leakage inductances and the nonlinear magnetic parameters of the dc machine are presented. The methods to obtain the mechanical load characteristics of the whole mechanical system and to separate the friction and iron losses in the dc machine or various torques in the whole mechanical system follow from an inspection of the mathematical model of dc machines. The practical measurement of the inductances of a 5 kW dc machine is described to show the procedure of the methods in detail |
