| Abstract: | This paper analyzes the status quo and problems of controlling SO2 emission from thermal power plants inChina, puts forward a guiding thinking on integrated control of its discharge. In view of restructuring thermal powersources mix, adopting new technologies and taking economical means, proposes integrated control countermeasuresagainst SO2 emission and brings forward appropriate suggestions on flue gas desulphurization rules and standards,policies, regulations, technical evaluation system, roles of enterprises and development of desulphurization industry etc. |
