The Chinese government has set ambitious goals for the development of nuclear power, which is under the risks from uranium supply shortage. The supply and demand of uranium resources both domestically and abroad is firstly analyzed in the paper. The supply can still meet the demand in the short run, but the risk of shortage may exist in the long run.
