Analysis and Prediction of Load Characteristics in Power Grids

Through the analysis on the data of the current load characteristics,the variation trend of the load characteristics can be reflected accurately.A new prediction algorithm of load characteristics,which simplifies the prediction process and makes analysis easier to promote,is proposed from an engineering point of view.Based on the practical situation of a power grid,the trends of the near-term and long-term development of load characteristics are predicted and the analysis on the main factors that impact the load characteristic variation is performed.The prediction results can serve as a reference for local grid planning.
