By substituting all-electric governing systems,using high pressure fire resistant hydraulic fluids,for hydraulic governing systems,which use low pressure turbine oil,control quality can be raised.This also represents the development tendency of steam turbine control technique.By analyzing the construction and working principle of quick closing valves of feed water pump's driving steam turbine,the necessity and feasibility of the quick closing valve's reconstruction is being elucidated,accompanied by a report on calculations of the main components as well as on reconstruction design already accomplished.
