Abstract:The thunder is a catastrophic phenomenon, but generally in the nature. It is due to discharge of thundercloud. According to the values in climatology and secondary planet observing, these are one hundred in every second. Three methods are normally used in thunder safeguard. First, release. Lead the lightning current flow through to ground. Second, restrict the surge overvoltage value. All of above should used in together, seldom separately. Third, insulate. Put the power supply and data or signal wire to shield. These are an economic and effective lightning proof method proposed in this paper. It used a combination of the lightning rod and wire to preventing the oilcan from lightning strike. Finally considering the central control system, all instruments are connect to ground.
