Research and Application of All-purpose Thermal Control Simulation Support System

The concept of an all-purpose thermal control simulation support platform suitable for many kinds of DCSs is introduced,including design idea,functional characteristics,software structure,configuration mode and relevant algorithm model libraries,as well as its application.The support system abstracts the common grounds of the most widely used DCSs nowadays in China,provides the similar standard models and the corresponding configuration methods,which can be easily used in power plant control system simulation to train operators and technicians.In addition,with the embedded turbine,boiler and generator models and other different kinds of models of many kinds of capacity units and the open interface,this system can be used to build customized models conveniently by professional users to test logics and put into practice new and advanced control strategies.It is a multifunctional simulation,testing and analytical tool,and has been applied to many power plant simulation projects and adopted by several research agencies as research and analysis tool.
