An Algorithm Using Skin- Color and Feature Likelihood Map for Gesture Recognition

In this paper, a new approach for gesture recognition using a feature likelihood map (FLM) and skin - color information are inrodueed. The map approximates the likelihood of image features at all points in scale- space. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively recognize gestures under the complex background.
