Abstract:With the increase of mobile users,the coverage of a cell is becoming smaller and smaller.Under this circumstance,the statistical similarity disappeared,so the traditional methods to predict the electromagnetic wave propagation characteristics are not suitable.Therefore,a simulation of the electromagnetic wave propagation characteristics(field intensity and capacity,etc)in microcell environment is proposed using 3D ray tracing method,from the aspects of different transmission mechanisms,such as the direct-way,reflection,diffraction and so on.According to the multipath information,the field intensity and capacity of SISO system and MIMO system are calculated,and the simulation results are visualized.On one hand,visualization makes the field intensity and capacity distribution vividly,on the other hand,it allows users to observe the variation of the field intensity distribution and the channel capacity distribution with some environment parameters,which makes it more convenient to compare these two systems.
