| Abstract: | A method of using 16C552 to realize asynchronous communication between an ARM-Linux embedded navigation system and the GPS module is introduced in this paper. The hardware circuit designs, architecture of the device driver and communication process are also available in this paper. The extension method proposed in this paper has practical value. |
