Abstract: | Low frequency oscillation is a major problem in small disturbance stability, and it is a more critical one for an enlarged power system, especially in the context of interconnection of regional grids. This paper, by means of combined method of the linearzed analysis and prony detection, analyzes the low frequency oscillation of Tianjin power grid in the context of interconnection of the regional grids, and finds out the low frequency oscillation mode, especially one for the weak damping, which is related to Tianjin grid. Methods and measures are proposed for enhancing the system damping and improving the small disturbance stability of the system. |
