| Abstract: | A general method and process for modulation design of HVDC systems are introduced. Taking Yunnan-Guangdong ±800 kV UHVDC project as an object, this paper discusses the design of its modulation controller, including the choice of input signals, selection of transfer functions as well as determination of parameter of modulation controller, and furthermore studies the impact of the designed modulation controller to the security and stability of China Southern Power Grid. |
