摘    要:通过对欧美的技术考察综述了VRLA电池近年来的最新进展情况 ,对VRLA电池的两类技术 ,即AGM技术和GEL技术进行了比较 ,认为深循环用的动力电池使用AGM技术好 ,而低功率的备用电源、UPS电池采用GEL技术有利。重点阐述了VRLA电池的工艺技术方面的国外最新动态 :( 1)板栅材料发展的三个方面 (快速冷却合金 ,轻型板栅 ,拉网板栅 ) ;( 2 )正极铅膏添加剂的作用模式 ;( 3)采用高温和膏和高温固化以增加电池容量和延长使用寿命 ;( 4 )电池组装压力和极群焊组质量对电池性能的影响等。介绍了玻璃棉隔板研究的最新动态和水平密封电池、双极性电池、卷式电池等三种新颖结构的最新进展。

Abstract:Through technical visits in Europe and USA, the latest developments of VRLA battery were summarized and the comparison between two types of VRLA technology,i.e.the AGM technology and the GEL technology was made.The results show that AGM technology is better for deep-cycle applications, while the GEL technology better suits for standby and UPS batteries.The recent trends on VRLA battery at aboard,especially in the following four aspects were introduced.They were: First, the three trends of grid material, including quick cooling technology, light grid and grid extending technology; Second, the function mode of positive additive; Third, increasing capacity and cycle life by mixing paste and curing at high temperature; Fourth, the effect of the quality of assembly and group welding on battery performance. In addition, the new developments of glass-mat separator and the three novel structure of VRLA battery, inducing horizontal, bipolar and orbital batteries were presented.
