生物质燃料电池的研究进展

摘    要:世界需要“绿色能源”———可再生能源,与传统的能源技术相比,它们对环境造成的影响要轻微得多。在各类清洁能源中,生物质燃料电池是极具前景但却受注意较少的技术之一。对基于生物质(主要是细菌、微生物及藻类)发电和生物质产氢的几种生物质燃料电池的研究进展进行了总结和评述,包括:直接利用太阳能或糖类发电的细菌电池、微生物燃料电池、以及“吃肉的机器人”等。并指出了将生物质燃料电池与微机电系统技术相结合的应用方式,以及参考“吃肉的机器人”提出了基于生物质燃料的微型机器人的概念。

Abstract:The world prefers "green energy"- the renewable energy, which generally has a much lower environmental impact than conventional energy technologies. Among all the clean energies ever developed, the biomaterial-based fuel cell is especially a most promising way to produce energy, which however received much less attentions. In this paper, research advancement on several biological materials (mainly bacteria, microorganism and algae) based fuel cells to generate electricity or hydrogen were comprehensively reviewed. The discussed fuel cells include: bacterial based fuel cell utilizing solar energy or glucose, microbial fuel cell (MFC), and gastrobot etc. An application form by combining the MFC with MEMS was proposed. Further, the concept of micro-robot powered by biological fuel was also suggested.
