变电站自动化中多媒体技术应用和通信模式

多媒体技术应用于变电站自动化中可实现视频、音频信息的采集和远传，以满足变电 站环境监控等功能需求，对变电站实现真正的无人值班具有重要意义。 文中阐述了影响多媒体技术在变电站自动化中应用的3个方面的因素：视频传输、多通道输 入的整合和经费限制；给出了变电站自动化中实现多媒体通信的两种典型实现模式：点对多点实现模式和广域网络（TCP/IP）实现模式，并进行了分析比较，指出广域网络（TCP/IP） 实现模式是技术发展方向。

THE APPLICATION OF MULTIMEDIA TECHNOLOGY TO SUBSTATION AUTOMATION AND THE COMMUNICATION MODES

By applying multim edia technology to the substation automation can im plem ent the acquisition and teletransmission of video and audio information to m eet the needs of substation environment m onitoring and so on,which is advantageous to realizing genuine unattended substation.Three factors are presented that are of influence on the application of multim edia technology to substation autom ation,which are video information transm ission,the integration of m ulti- modality input and engineering funds.Two typical modes of communication between master station and substation are given and analyzed,one is the point- to- multipoint and the other is the wide area network TCP/ IP m ode.It is pointed out that the wide area network TCP/ IP mode is the trend of technological developm ent.
