摘    要:研究了输入电流连续型电荷泵功率因数校正(ContinuousInputCurrentChargePumpPowerFactorCorrection,简称CIC-CPPFC)技术在超高频金卤灯电子镇流器(ElectronicBallast,简称EB)中的应用。成功设计出一台适合70W金卤灯用EB。实验结果证明,超高频工作法与电荷泵功率因数校正(ChargePumpPowerFactorCorrection,简称CPPFC)技术相结合不仅能有效抑制金卤灯的声谐振问题,而且电路结构简单,成本低,效率高。设计的EB在输入电压大范围变化时具有良好的恒功率控制效果,以及滑频软启动和软开关功能,此外还具有开路、短路和热灯启动等多种保护功能,功率因数大于0.99,THD值小于15%。

Abstract:This paper investigates the application of Continuous Input Current Charge Pump Power Factor Correction(CIC-CPPFC) techniques in electronic ballast for Metal Halide(MH) lamp with ultra high frequency.A laboratory prototype of CIC-CPPFC electronic ballast for 70W MH lamp is designed and tested in this paper.Experimental results verify that the single-stage electronic ballast with ultra high frequency can not only suppress acoustic resonance of MH lamp,but also minimize the cost and improve the efficiency.The proposed electronic ballast can ignite MH lamp with variable frequency,and hold constant power when the input voltage varies in a wide range.It has various fault protection function including open circuit,short circuit or hot lamps.The zero voltage switching is always maintained,and the switching loss is minimized.More than 0.99 power factor and less than 15% THD can be achieved.
