摘    要:通过对欧美的技术考察综述了VRLA电池近年来的最新进展情况 ,综述了VRLA电池的可靠性和三种失效模式 ,阐述了VRLA电池的工艺技术方面的国外最新动态 :(1)含添加剂的板栅合金材料 ;(2 )正极铅膏添加剂的作用模式 ;(3)采用高温和膏和高温固化以增加电池容量和延长使用寿命 ;(4 )电池组装压力和极群焊组质量对电池性能的影响等。介绍了玻璃棉隔板研究的最新动态和水平密封电池、双极性电池、卷式电池等 3种新颖结构的最新进展。

Abstract:Through some technical visits to Europe and USA,the new development and reliability of the VRLA batteries were summarized and three categories of premature capacity loss(PCL)were reviewed. The recent trends on VRLA battery at abroad,especially in the following four aspects were described in detail:First,the grid alloy material,which includes additives technology;Second,the function mode of positive additive;Third,increasing capacity and cycle life by mixing paste and curing at high temperature;Fourth,the effect of the quality of assembly and group welding on battery performance. It also introduces new development on glass mat separator and the three novel structure of VRLA battery:horizontal,bipolar and orbital batteries.
