Abstract:A method of generating frequency hopping signal is introduced using arbitrary waveform generator and vector signal source.TN8241A is used to generate two low frequency signals,and the signals are transported to the IQ input port of E8267D.The low frequency signals and the RF signal of E8267D are modulated to generate the frequency-hopping signal with the features of short frequency conversion time,high hopping rate and strong spurious rejection.Experiment result shows the sinal has such features that frequency conversion time less than 3 μs,hopping rate higher than 1 000 h/s and spurious rejection more than 40 dB.
