Identification of time-varying parameters base on time-varying AR model and wavelet transform

Elimination of the false modal is the key problem of using time-varying AR model for modal identification of time-varying system.For P frequency values which are obtained by P-order time-varying model,a new method for the elimination of the false modal base on the time-frequency plot of wavelet transform is proposed.A model of a cantilever beam with time-varying mass is established by FEM,and get the vibration response,which is used to set up a time-varying AR model and identify the modal frequency.The method proposed is used to eliminate the false modal.The simulation results indicate that the proposed method is effective and feasible.
