Reserve capacity for load variation in power market environment

Profits is one of the important goals of grid company in power market environment.Using probabilistic method,the feasibility of load shedding,the costs of reserve capacity for load and load shedding are analyzed.It is proposed that,in power market environment ,the optimal reserve capacity for load variation(in economic sense)should be determined in light of costs of reserve capacity and load shedding.The simulation results show that the method is feasible and economic.
