| Abstract: | During the work of the extension and renovation of Luoyang Thermal Power Plant the stator winding of generator No. 1 was broken down in the DC voltage withstand test. In this paper a method for searching the breakdown position and the analysis on the reason which causes the breakdown is presented. The repair process of the generator is also described. |
