摘    要:分析了广域保护的研究背景,总结了目前各种不同类型的广域保护系统,并对其功能重新进行了定位,根据影响电力系统稳定的三类问题,提出了能满足"三道防线"要求,由快速保护、安全自动控制和紧急控制以及系统振荡检测构成的广域保护系统,阐述了该系统应该具备的功能和工作流程,并指出了构建该系统需要开展的几方面研究工作.所提出的广域保护系统可为大型互联电网配置合理的安全防线提供解决方案.

Abstract:The authors analyzed the research background of wide area protection, summarized the current different types of wide area protection systems and re-delimited the functions of these systems. According to three kinds of power system stability problems which may affect power system security in varying degrees, this paper proposed a novel wide area protection system constituted by quick protection, stability and emergency control and system oscillation detection. The functions to be possessed and the working flow of the presented system were expounded. To establish such a system the authors also pointed out items to be researched. The proposed wide area protection system can offer rational security solution for interconnected power grids.
