| Abstract: | The crystalline morphology of polyethylene is changed when the different content of sorbital, as nucleator, is added into polyethylene. The theory of crystalline morphology raised in this paper might explain a good relationship between the space charge under dc stress and the water treeing under ac stress. An optimum content of sorbital for decreasing space charge and suppressing water treeing is found. |
