| Abstract: | The present state of research of flashover model of iced insulators is summarized. The research mainly based on the circuit model is introduced. The Obenaus model, electric field model and the thermodynamic model are included. It is shown that the further research has to pay attentions to arc development dynamic model which consider the thermal transfer and water vapor. |
