Application of Web Services in E-commerce for small and medium sized enterprises

With the rapid development of Internet, Web Services gradually become the core of the next generation of E-commerce. By using Web Services, modern E-commerce can help individuals or enterprises in collecting more information from the Internet. This paper describes the concept, the architecture and the standard of Web Services. It mainly focuses on the application of Web Services in E-commerce for small and medium sized enterprises. And two models based on Web Services from the interior and the exterior of the enterprises are brought forward. To analyze the advantage of Web Services, an application case of E-commerce is given. In this case, Web Services make E-commerce process more intelligent than before.
