高性能的PCMCIA数据加密卡的设计与实现

随着笔记本电脑的不断普及,符合PCMCIA标准接口的PC卡被广泛地应用在各个领域。同时,由于数据安全日益得到重视,对笔记本电脑硬盘中的数据进行加密成为一种迫切需要。该文在PCMCIA接口规范的基础上设计了一种高性能的PCMCIA数据加密卡,重点介绍了该系统的结构设计,并给出了硬件的实现方案。该系统通过在FPGA上的仿真和在Windows9x环境下的测试,完全符合PCMCIA的设计规范要求,可以对计算机的数据进行有效的加密保护;并且由于该系统的设计考虑了VLSI的特性,易于ASIC的实现。

A Design and Implementation of a High Performance Data-Encryption PC Card

With the increasing population of laptops,PC Card-a portable device for laptop-has been widely used in various areas.Meanwhile,due to the growing emphasis on data security,the encryption of file systems in laptops becomes a very important topic.This paper suggests and implements a high performance PC card for encrypting data.This paper emphasizes on the design of system structure,and presents the design scheme of hardware.This system has successfully simulated on FPGA and tested in the Win9X operating system to meet with the criterion of PCMCIA and the need of data-protection.And this system is also suitable for implementation of ASIC because the characteristic of VLSI is considered.
