基于闪存的文件系统的实现

摘    要:作为嵌入式领域应用最为广泛的存储设备,闪存具有高密度和良好的存取速度等优点。但同时它也存在着缺陷:一是闪存在重写之前必须先进行块擦除;二是各擦除块的擦除次数有限。所以基于闪存的文件系统必须在充分发挥闪存的性能的同时克服它的缺陷。文章在分析了闪存的这些存储特性的基础上,阐述了一个基于闪存的文件系统JFFS的设计与实现。

Abstract:Flash memory has many attractive features such as its density and I /O performance.These features make flash memory the best choice for a embedded storage system.Unfotunately,it also has two drawbacks.First,blocks of flash memory must be erased before being rewritten.The second drawback is that each block's erase operation times is limited.Thus,a flash-based filesystem must be able to make effective use of the advangates of flash memory while over-coming its constraints.JFFS is such a filesystem.Its design and implementation are described in this paper.
