| Abstract: | This paper introduces the hardware development platform for intelligent monitoring system for home use based on embedded Linux and ARM9,and presents the procedures on how to install USB camera's driver and how to program the grab- bing of image data in detail.Besides,it also introduces two methods of picture grabbing,which are timing grabbing and PIR grabbing. |
