PARALLEL PROCESSING SIMULATOR: PPSIM

In the research area of parallel processing, simulation is one of the very important techniques. PPSIM, a parallel processing simulator, is introduced in this paper. PPSIM mainly focuses on the MIMD architectures, which include both distributed memory architectures and shared-memory architectures (such as iPSC hypercubc and Denelcor HEP). Using the provided libary of subroutines, user can construct the simulation model very easyly, and get the extensive, detailed performance information and their graphic summaries.
